The Carnival Package in Rio de Janeiro includes the following activities:
1. Carnival Parade Tickets & Transport:
Witness the incredible and prestigious Carnival Parades that take place in the Sambadrome in Rio de Janeiro. See the top samba schools in the city compete to be crowned champions of Carnival. Tickets to the parades are for Sector 9, with numbered seats. Transport from the South Zone to the Sambadrome and back is included. Read the full description of the Carnival Tours.
Remember: The parades take place over 5 nights. The first two nights, the schools from “Serie A” – the smaller samba schools – compete, with the winner getting to move up to the special group next year. The next two nights are the main events. Here the largest samba schools, the First League or Special Group, compete to be crowned Grand Champion. The following Saturday is the Champions’ Parade, where the top 6 schools from the First League parade a second time. 2. Samba Class & Night Out:
Want to learn how to dance samba like a local? Learn the steps and get into the samba rhythm that’ll surround you during Carnival by taking a samba class with a professional dance instructor.
